THE OBJECTIVES OF THE FARNHAM SOCIETY

The Society has been established for the public benefit in the area comprising the town of Farnham and its surrounding area. Its objectives are:

 

• To enlist and stimulate the interest of citizens in the dignity and beauty of the town
   

• To safeguard the natural beauty of the locality, to encourage the preservation of the best architectural features of the town and neighbourhood, and to foster right development in the future.
   

• To act as a focus for giving and obtaining advice and information on all matters affecting these objectives.
   

• To represent and advance the views of the Society to local, county and other local authorities.
