MEMBERSHIP AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

The Society’s strength depends upon its members, and new and active members are always needed. Increased membership brings increased influence, and joining The Farnham Society is an important way of influencing the evolution of the town.

The Society relies entirely on subscriptions and donations to fund its activities. To encourage membership, annual subscriptions are maintained at the lowest possible levels.

The current subscription rates are as follows:-

• Individual membership: £10.00

• Individual Senior Citizen: £7.00

• Family membership: £15.00

• Persons under 18: £2.50

• Full time student: £2.50

• Corporate Membership: £15.00

• Life Membership: Ordinary: £100.00

• Couples: £175.00
   

Of course, additional donations are always welcomed. Please remember the Society if you are thinking of giving to a charity or are considering a bequest in your will.

Subscriptions are due on 1st April annually. Anybody wishing to join after the 31st December in any year shall pay the appropriate annual subscription which will cover membership up until the following April 1st and then for a full year thereafter.

Payment may be by Bankers Order. Members can increase the Society’s income, at no cost to themselves by making their payments under Gift Aid.
